August 24, 2017 marked an historic day for high school sports at Holmes High School. The ribbon was cut and the new stadium was opened.
Several firms and individuals contributed to the realization of the dream stadium. One of the best things about the upgraded $2.5 million stadium is that no educational funds that support classroom instruction were used to pay for the complex. Money came from construction funds and many donations. The organization behind the project, Covington's TEAM Foundation, sought and collected donations during years of hard work and dedication.
The stadium will host its first football game Friday, August 25 at 7 p.m. and its first soccer game Saturday, August 26 at 7 p.m.
Come out to support the Bulldogs and see the best stadium in the state.
