Passion Is Priceless

Eric and Chad Sandy

"Talent is cheap, but passion is priceless."

That is the message Eric and Chad Sandy stressed to the Holmes Middle School eighth graders on Friday. The Sandy twins graduated from Holmes in 2004 and now work at the Nike Corporation in Portland, Oregon.

Eric works directly with Michael Jordan, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, and other athletes to design their Nike shoes. Chad works in production to make sure those designs become a reality. The twins told the students their story of passion and persistence to work their dream job.

"Don't give up and follow your passion, and you will make it too," they said.
