Weather Concerns

Because weather can change quickly and forecasts aren't always certain, our district may be faced with early dismissal on Friday, January 12. As of now, the National Weather Service has posted a Winter Weather Advisory for our area for tomorrow. Snow is expected to begin falling in the afternoon.

Should weather, road conditions, or other conditions create the necessity for dismissing school early, we will try to make the decision at least one hour prior to dismissing early, to allow time for bus drivers to be prepared and for families to have time to make alternative plans. It is most important that parents/guardians make plans in advance for your child's care in case school is dismissed early.

Should the district dismiss early, the official announcement will be sent out in the same manner as a school closing or late start — via telephone, facebook, website and television.

The after school program for Friday, January 12 is CANCELED.

All campus events and athletic activities will be canceled if school is dismissed early.

If you should have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's school.
