Students in Mr. Runyan's fifth grade class at Latonia Elementary School got to hear a firsthand account of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center 14 years ago. Jim Kronicz, a survivor of the attack, spoke to the students about his experience of working on the 62nd floor of World Trade Center Tower Two when the tragedy occurred. He described what he saw, felt, and thought as the events unfolded.
Kronicz was joined by Janice Robinson who was a Red Cross volunteer in New York in the days that followed the attack. Students looked at pictures describing the event and were able to ask questions.
