Taft Museum of Art and their Duncanson Artist-in-Residence visited the after-school program at Glenn O. Swing. Stafford Berry, who is serving his eighth year as the Associate Professor of Dance and Black Studies at Denison University in Columbus, Ohio, taught the students rhythmic claps and routines.
Berry toured fourteen years as the Associate Artistic Director of the internationally acclaimed African American Dance Ensemble (AADE) where he led ten dancers and musicians in dance performances, workshops, and educational outreach activities.
The students enjoyed learning the routines and asking questions.
