Community and Family Engagement

The Department of Community and Family Engagement partners with students, families, neighbors, district staff, partner organizations, and businesses to provide high-quality programs to ensure ALL students are successful. Through programs like out-of-school time (before school, after school, and summer programming), the Covington Mentoring Program, and family engagement events, the Department of Community and Family Engagement provides an array of opportunities for students to learn and grow outside of the typical classroom.

The Department of Community and Family Engagement collaborates with Partners for Change, a local nonprofit, to provide high quality support programs and initiatives focused on student academic achievement, wellness, and engagement.

For more information about out-of-school time programs (Community Learning Centers) in Covington, please contact Julie Muehlenkamp.

For more information about the Covington Mentoring Program and other initiatives, please contact Ashley McClure.
