Student Enrollment and Registration

Covington Independent Public Schools' District Enrollment Center helps to ease the enrollment process so that parents/guardians can register their children at the same place and time. The center also provides a one-stop service to families seeking resources and information when enrolling their children in the district.

Who uses the District Enrollment Center?
All parents/guardians of new students to the district must use the center to enroll their children. When transferring students to or from another Covington school, parents/guardians are required to make the changes at the enrollment center. Change of address, phone number or emergency contacts can also be made at the enrollment center.

Who Needs to Enroll?
State law requires children between the ages of 6 to 18 to attend school. Any child who becomes 5 years of age on or before August 1, is eligible for the Primary School Program (beginning with Kindergarten). Preschool is available for eligible 3 and 4-year-old children who meet eligibility requirements. After the online registration is completed, a preschool representative will contact you to finish the enrollment process and determine eligibility.
