Why don't I see the new updates or experience in my app?
You will need to update the version of your district app to see and use the updated experience. 

Why am I unable to login?
Be sure you are trying to login via your district's mobile app. If you're still unable to login, first try deleting and reinstalling the app (updating it if needed) and then login. If you're still having issues, contact us for support.

Where can I download the district app?
You can find and download our district app from the AppStore (iPhone/iOS) or the PlayStore (Android) for free, or by visiting the footer on the district website and look for "Download on the App Store" or "Get it on Google Play" buttons.  

Do I need to download Rooms?
No! Rooms is built directly into your district's mobile app experience and is also accessible via the web (including a mobile web browser). We do recommend downloading your district's mobile app for ease of access and use! 

What is Rooms and how does it make school communication easy?
Rooms offers secure, two-way messaging between families and their child’s school. School staff such as teachers, coaches, nurses, etc. can send broadcasts, announcements, and messages to parents, guardians, and students. And guardians can message teachers and staff. This makes it easy for everyone to know how to get in contact with each other. Instead of using disparate channels, like text, email, Facebook, etc., families and teachers can communicate with each other through one tool. 
Plus, Rooms exist within your district app, which means you don’t have to download an additional app to keep up with your child’s school. You can chat with teachers (through Rooms) and access all district wide information—from dining menus, to events to announcements and more—through one app.

Who can use the district app and who can use Rooms? 
The district app is available for anyone to download including community members that want to know about upcoming events like sports. 
Rooms is a secure environment that is available only to families with students currently attending the district and those who are active teachers, staff, and administration. 
Students and guardians will need a login and password to access Rooms. This allows all of us to communicate securely and to make sure that messages are being delivered to the right families. 

Is Rooms free to teachers, parents, and guardians? 
The district has invested in Rooms and that means it comes at no cost to you. Teachers, staff, students, parents, and guardians do not have to pay to use it or to access any features. All features are free and available for you to use.

Can I get district, school, and classroom news in one place?
Yes, when you download the district app to use Rooms you will also have access to the district live feed, news, events, and more. You also have access to your child’s individual school and can find important information like dining menus, news, and announcements. 
Rooms makes it easy to communicate with teachers and staff at the classroom level. The rest of the district app is designed to broadcast information and share all the amazing moments that happen within our school community throughout the school year. 

What kind of communication should I use Rooms for?
You can use Rooms for any communication between teachers, staff, and families. While you can ask questions about how your student is performing or about an upcoming assignment that’s due, we also encourage you to build a stronger relationship with your student’s teachers. 
Several studies link parent-teacher communication with student success, like increased test scores and better participation in class. In fact, parent-teacher communication increases the odds that students complete their homework by 40%! 
Teachers and staff do incredible work and our hope is that Rooms makes it easier for you to get the information you need to parent well—and it can serve as an easy way to let educators know how much we appreciate them. 

What’s the difference between Rooms and the Apptegy (Thrillshare) mobile app?
Rooms is built into our district app and is the only app that parents/guardians will need. If you are a staff member you will use the Apptegy/Thrillshare app to publish class information, share announcements, and send messages. If you are a teacher or a staff member AND have a student in the district, you will need both apps and will register with your personal email address for Rooms. 

Can I communicate with my child's teacher using a browser? I would rather use a computer.
Yes! Rooms is accessible via the web, mobile web browser, or mobile app. 

I forgot my password for Rooms. What should I do?
Use this link to reset your password.

I get an error when trying to send a message through Rooms. What should I do?
Remove the district app and reinstall it, then try logging back in. If you're using the web, clear your browser's cache, close the browser, then open it and try again.

One of my children is not listed in Rooms. What do I do?
