Ashley McClure

Ms. Ashley McClure has been named the new Director of Community & Family Engagement for Covington Independent Public Schools, bringing more than 15 years of experience in education, student-centered programming, and community partnership development. A thoughtful and results-driven leader, McClure has served in a wide range of roles within the district.

Throughout her career, she has provided leadership across numerous educational and community-based initiatives, with a focus on program development, stakeholder collaboration, and systems-level improvement. She brings a strong emphasis on data-informed decision-making, cross-sector partnerships, and long-term sustainability. Known for her calm, detail-oriented approach and behind-the-scenes leadership style, McClure is deeply committed to creating structures that support students, families, and schools in meaningful and equitable ways.

A graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky and a recognized community leader, she has presented at several state and national conferences and is actively involved in volunteer service across the region.

Beyond the office, McClure is a longtime northern Kentucky resident, dedicated volunteer, loving wife, and parent, offering both professional expertise and personal insight into the importance of family engagement and supportive, inclusive learning environments.

She is known for her consistency, thoughtfulness, and dedication to the foundational work that drives lasting impact, whether it’s managing budgets, writing grants, developing systems, analyzing data, or supporting staff. As Director, McClure will continue to lead with humility, integrity, and a clear vision: to strengthen the connections between families, schools, and the broader community in service of all students.
