200 Years celebration logo

For two centuries, Covington schools have educated generations of students, shaped leaders, strengthened our community, and provided opportunities that have transformed countless lives. To commemorate this monumental milestone as well as honor the 2026 Person of the Year, Judge Charlie Moore, the Covington Education Foundation will host a prestigious black-tie optional affair on June 18, 2026, at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center.

"We are marking history as we celebrate one of the finest individuals to ever emerge from Covington schools," said Dan Francis, Foundation President. "As we honor this significant 200-year milestone, we invite our entire alumni community to join us for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration."

In addition to Judge Moore, honorees also include Gary Huhn, Dr. Janice Wilkerson, Donna Wolfe, Alvin Garrison, Jack Moreland, and Scott Alter.

Since 1997, the Covington Education Foundation has been dedicated to funding scholarships and empowering the students at Holmes High School. Help us continue this mission while honoring a local legend and 200 years of educational history.
