Congratulations to Holmes High School Class of 2022 graduate Jamain York on being crowned Homecoming King at Eastern Kentucky University. Jamain is majoring in Medical Laboratory Sciences and is a member of the EKU cheer team.

As part of their 50th class reunion, members of the Holmes High School Class of 1975 toured the campus on Thursday evening. During the visit, they had the opportunity to see the many changes that have taken place over the past 50 years and learn about the educational programs, resources, and activities available to students today.

Congratulations to several Holmes High School students on receiving the 2025 Key to the Future Award from The Center for Great Neighborhoods. Abdul Haseeb, Damya Hughes, Faith Jackson, Luv Martinez and River Benecke were recognized on Thursday, October 17, at The Center at our annual Heart of the Community Celebration: a benefit for The Center for Great Neighborhoods.
The Key to the Future Award recognizes Covington youth residents who are outstanding leaders and devoted to the Covington community.

Superintendent Alvin Garrison joined 63 county/judge executives, 31 mayors and the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents in support of expanding pre-K this coming session and making Pre-K for All a reality.
